หนังสือเรื่องนี้ไม่ใช่เหมาะเฉพาะกับเฉพาะเด็กๆแต่ผู้ใหญ่ก็อ่านสนุกด้วยนะคะ เชื่อว่าหลายๆคนไม่รู้หรอกว่าสีที่มีเฉดต่างๆมีชื่อเฉพาะ อย่างสีแดง ก็มีRed, มีMaroon สีเขียว ไม่ใช่แค่Green มันยังมีPea Green วึ่งเป็นเฉดสีที่เหมือนสีของถั่วลันเตา
เรื่องนี้นอกจากเราจะได้รู้จักเฉดสีแปลกๆแล้ว การนำเสนอก็สนุก สีต่างๆเค้าต้องการกลับบ้าน เค้าก็เลยเขียนPostcard แล้วติดStamp ส่งมาหาDuncan เจ้าของสี (ชอบไอเดียนี้มากค่ะ การใช้รูปถ่ายทำให้นิทานมีเสน่ห์มากๆ) ว่าเค้าหายไปไหนมา อย่างสีแดงMaroon บอกว่า”ที่เค้าหายไปเมื่อ2ปีก่อน เพราะDuncan ลืมเค้าไว้ที่Sofa แล้วพ่อนั่งทับเค้าหัก เค้าได้รับPaper Clip ช่วยดามไว้ ตอนนี้อยากกลับเข้ากล่องแล้ว ให้มาชอวยเค้าที แล้วถ้าขออนุญาติให้paper Clip ไปอยู่ด้วยจะได้ไหม?” การเล่าเรื่องน่ารักมากๆค่ะ สีอื่นๆก็มีเรื่องราวประสบการณ์ของตัวเองเขียนมาเล่าให้Duncanอ่านเพื่อขอกลับบ้าน
